Terms and Conditions
Effective date: August 20, 2025
Welcome to LumiHouse. Lumina Lighting Group LLC operates lumihousedecor.shop (“LumiHouse,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing the site, creating an account, or placing an order, you agree to these Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy, and Return, Exchange and Refund Policy incorporated by reference. If you do not agree, do not use the site or submit an order.
1. Eligibility and accounts
You must have reached the age of legal majority and have capacity to contract where you live. Provide accurate, complete, current information, safeguard account credentials, and take responsibility for account activity. Notify us promptly of suspected unauthorized use. We may reasonably request order, identity, payment, or address verification to prevent fraud and protect customers.
2. Site information and availability
We work to keep the site accurate, available, and secure, but maintenance or interruption may occur. Site content provides general product and shopping information and is not a substitute for advice from a qualified electrician, building professional, or local authority.
3. Product descriptions, images, and specifications
We aim to accurately show dimensions, materials, finishes, color, electrical specifications, light-source requirements, package contents, and compatibility. Screens, photography, natural materials, and hand-applied finishes may produce reasonable color or texture variation. Review the product page, dimension drawing, and installation conditions before purchase. A certification, dimmer compatibility, damp/wet rating, outdoor use, or warranty applies only when specifically and supportably stated for the product. We may correct obvious typographical or technical errors without removing statutory rights already accrued.
4. Prices, inventory, and order acceptance
Prices are in U.S. dollars and exclude taxes and shipping calculated at checkout unless stated. Cart placement does not reserve stock. Submitting an order is an offer to buy; an automated confirmation only acknowledges receipt. We may reject or cancel for unavailability, an obvious pricing or description error, payment failure, suspected fraud, delivery restriction, or legal requirement. We will notify you and refund any canceled amount collected. For an obvious price error found before shipment, we will ask you to confirm the correct price or cancel without charge.
5. Payment and taxes
You authorize us and our payment processor to charge the selected payment method for the products, shipping, taxes, and other amount clearly accepted at checkout, and represent that you may use that method. Applicable sales tax is calculated from order information. We do not ask you to send a full card number or security code by email.
6. Shipping, title, and risk
Handling, delivery areas, estimates, charges, delays, loss, and damage are governed by the Shipping Policy. Unless applicable law provides otherwise, risk of loss transfers when the carrier confirms delivery to you or your designee. If we cannot ship within the promised time, we provide the legally required choice to consent to delay or cancel for refund.
7. Returns, refunds, exchanges, and cancellations
Eligibility, the 30-day window, costs, no-restocking-fee rule, exchanges, refund timing, and cancellation are governed by the Return, Exchange and Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms. A product-specific exception must be clearly shown before purchase and cannot remove a non-waivable right.
8. Installation and safety
- A qualified electrician should install hardwired fixtures under the product instructions, rated specifications, and local building and electrical codes, after power is disconnected and verified off.
- Do not install a product with transit damage, missing critical parts, unusual wiring, or specifications incompatible with the site; contact us first.
- The customer is responsible for verifying junction-box and wall or ceiling support, dry/damp/wet-location rating, voltage, bulb wattage, dimmer, and system compatibility.
- To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for installation, removal, repair, or loss caused by improper installation, incompatible components, excess wattage, alteration, or failure to follow instructions. This does not exclude liability for a product defect or a duty imposed by law.
9. Promotions, codes, and reviews
A promotion is subject to the dates, eligibility, and limits disclosed with it and cannot be combined or redeemed for cash unless stated. Reviews, endorsements, and social content must reflect genuine experience. If a discount, free product, or other incentive is offered, we require any disclosure applicable by law and do not condition it on a positive review.
10. Intellectual property
The site and its text, design, graphics, photographs, video, marks, logos, product presentation, and software belong to Lumina Lighting Group LLC, its licensors, or the relevant owner and are protected by law. We grant a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license for personal shopping and lawful site use. Without written permission, you may not copy, scrape, bulk-download, modify, distribute, sell, reverse engineer, or use content for a competing commercial purpose.
11. User content
You retain ownership of a review, photo, video, suggestion, or other content you submit. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable license to host, copy, display, adapt, and distribute it to operate, promote, and improve LumiHouse, continuing to the extent permitted by law. You represent that you have rights to submit it and that it is truthful, lawful, non-infringing, free of malicious code, and does not expose another person’s sensitive information. We may reasonably review, reject, or remove content but have no duty to monitor everything.
12. Prohibited conduct
- Illegal, fraudulent, infringing, harassing, hateful, or rights-violating activity.
- Bypassing security, probing vulnerabilities, distributing malware, disrupting the site, or unauthorized account or system access.
- Using bots, crawlers, or automated tools to bulk scrape content, stock, or prices, except ordinary search-engine indexing.
- False orders, unauthorized payment methods, restricted-promotion resale, impersonation, or false contact information.
- Unauthorized advertising, spam, or competitive copying through the site.
13. Third-party services and links
Payment, delivery, social, or other third-party services may have independent terms and privacy policies. A link does not mean we endorse or control the third party. Your third-party use is governed by its terms, but this provision does not reduce our responsibility for products we sell or duties imposed by law.
14. Warranty disclaimer
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SITE AND GENERAL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” AND WE DO NOT WARRANT UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR COMPLETELY SECURE OPERATION. AN EXPRESS PRODUCT WARRANTY APPLIES ONLY AS CLEARLY STATED ON THE PRODUCT PAGE OR IN ACCOMPANYING MATERIALS. THE LAW MAY GIVE YOU IMPLIED WARRANTIES OR CONSUMER RIGHTS THAT CANNOT BE EXCLUDED; THESE TERMS DO NOT EXCLUDE, LIMIT, OR MODIFY A NON-WAIVABLE RIGHT.
15. Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LUMINA LIGHTING GROUP LLC AND ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, PUNITIVE, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OR LOST PROFIT, DATA, OR GOODWILL ARISING FROM SITE USE. FOR LIABILITY THAT MAY LAWFULLY BE LIMITED AND DIRECTLY RELATES TO AN ORDER OR SITE USE, OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID FOR THE ORDER GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM OR $100, WHICHEVER IS GREATER. SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITS, SO THEY MAY NOT APPLY. NOTHING LIMITS LIABILITY FOR FRAUD, WILLFUL MISCONDUCT, PERSONAL INJURY, OR OTHER LIABILITY THAT LAW PROHIBITS US FROM LIMITING.
16. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify Lumina Lighting Group LLC for reasonable loss and expense from a third-party claim caused by your material breach of these Terms, unlawful site use, or infringement of third-party rights. This does not require a consumer to indemnify us for our negligence, unlawful conduct, or a product defect.
17. Force majeure
To the extent permitted by law, we are not in breach for delay or nonperformance beyond reasonable control and not caused by our negligence, including natural disaster, severe weather, fire, war, government action, labor disruption, epidemic, communications or carrier failure, or supply-chain event. We will still take reasonable steps, communicate promptly, and follow mandatory delay, cancellation, and refund rules.
18. Suspension and termination
If we reasonably identify fraud, a security threat, unlawful conduct, or a material breach, we may suspend an account, restrict access, or cancel an unfulfilled order, with notice and refund as required. You may stop using the site or ask us to close an account. Records needed for a transaction or required by law may be retained.
19. Governing law and disputes
Except where non-waivable consumer law provides otherwise, California law and applicable U.S. federal law govern without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before filing a dispute, the parties will try in good faith to resolve it through [email protected]. Provide the order number, facts, and requested remedy and allow 30 days for a reasonable response. An unresolved dispute may be brought in the state or federal courts located in San Bernardino County, California; an eligible claim may be brought in a court of competent small-claims jurisdiction. Nothing prevents urgent injunctive relief or a complaint to a government agency.
20. Changes, severability, waiver, assignment, and entire agreement
We may update these Terms and revise the effective date; material changes receive additional notice when required. An update does not retroactively alter a material term of a completed order unless law requires or you agree. If a provision is unenforceable, the rest remains effective and the provision is enforced as closely as lawful. Failure to enforce is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent. We may assign them in a merger or asset transaction without reducing consumer rights. These Terms and incorporated policies are the entire agreement about the site and orders.
21. Electronic communications and language
To the extent permitted by law, you consent to electronic order, account, security, and policy notices and may retain copies. Chinese and English versions are available. The English version is the principal version for U.S. transactions. If a translation differs, the English version controls to the extent permitted by law, without affecting a non-waivable right.
